“I could have watched the story of these two characters for hours” – Art Murmurs

In this new New Zealand play, two estranged siblings attempt to reconnect and quickly discover how annoying they still find one another. As they push their way through the extraneous nonsense of family drama, they find themselves falling into a divide stretched exponentially wider by their years apart. While biking to a mutual friend’s party, the brother and sister question what it means to be part of a family, and what they mean to each other.

Is their relationship worth saving, or do they even have a choice?

Written and directed by Jack McGee (winner of Playwrights B4 25 2023) and starring Anna Barker (Nominee of 2023 Wellington Theatre Award ‘Most Promising Newcomer’) alongside Nelson native Dylan Hutton, this “Lovingly and credibly painted portrait of the complexities of sibling resentment.” (Theatreview) is not to be missed.
