Fresh off the back of a 20-show comedy tour with TV’s David Correos, Panic! At The Buffet marks Taylor’s third hour of stand-up comedy. In this performance, he muses on why he’s thankful for ram raids, the struggle of being a recovering alt kid in his 30s, his attempts at weight loss, trying to be an intellectual, and why Hungry Wok is his favourite recession-busting restaurant. Throughout the stories and bits, Taylor weaves in a variety of goofs and one-liners, all delivered in his signature cheeky, upbeat style. It’s an hour of jolly escapist comedy for those who don’t take life too seriously and aren’t afraid to laugh at themselves – he’s sure not!
Taylor is also known for his award-nominated podcast, Ruddle Me This! which has been running for about a year and is rapidly climbing the ranks of the NZ comedy podcast charts!
Taylor has been performing comedy for nearly 10 years, starting out when he was living in Fukuoka in Japan. He returned home in 2018 and has been producing shows in Christchurch and around Canterbury since early 2019. Just prior the 2024 Nelson Fringe he will have completed a 22-date comedy tour around the South Island to pretty much sell-out shows. Taylor was in the Nelson Fringe 2023 with his show Mul-TAY-Verse – so great to have you back again, Taylor!
