The Umbrella Project presents a showcase of excerpts from longer theatre-works-in-progress, devised with the support of Donna Chapman and Ro Cambridge, creators of The Departure Lounge, the one-woman show that won Audience Favourite at the 2023 Nelson Fringe Festival.
Expect surprising and provocative one-woman theatre, created and performed by Karolina Gorton, Sarah McCallum, and Shannon Nicholson with Ursula Nicholson.

How can we find a way to live fully, when everyday life demands so much of us? This piece opens in the real world, then plunges us into the place where the fantastical and the mundane co-exist. Is the solution to the striving, stress and anxiety of life to be found by diving deeply into dream and ritual? Or could a mysterious phone call hold the answer?
