We’re looking for a Venue Technician for this year’s Fringe.
This is a paid role for the whole of the Festival (4-15 March).
You will need to be available every day throughout that period for rehearsals as well as shows.
You will need experience of theatre lighting, sound and some AV including plotting and operating lighting desks.
Main roles include:
– Welcoming local, national and international performers to the venue, including H&S.
– Plotting (or helping plot) lighting and sound.
– Making sure companies use their rehearsal time well.
– Sometimes operating shows.
– Opening and checking the venue each day and closing at night.
– And most importantly, helping artists from a range of backgrounds achieve their creative aims.
This is a full-on, but very rewarding role for twelve days.
